Our Eli Enns is in Denver Colorado today to speak at the International Symposium on Conservation Impact, hosted by the Salazar Center for North American Conservation. Taking place on Arapaho, Cheyenne, and Ute territories, Eli will share the concept of Indigenous Protected and Conserved Areas (IPCAs) and describe how his roles with the IISAAK OLAM Foundation and as the National IPCA Coordinator for the Assembly of First Nations (AFN) support Nations who aspire to establish IPCAs in their territories.

“With its continent-wide focus on landscape conservation and connections across borders, the symposium will bring together a range of stakeholders from the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Together, we'll build bridges between academic research, on-the-ground practice, and policy.”
